Have to do a little more digging, but it looks like these resellers are tied into Ingram Micros database.

So as Ingram adds a product to specific categories, it becomes an update to the resellers database who carry that categories product line.

As far a brick and mortar stores, that will be the clincher. I do not know about best buy, but maybe we start in Fry's.
