Ahhh, corporate secrecy at work. Our company has held there cards very close to their vest. My faint recollection was, after Dr Greaves was brought in to tweak cu@ocx, he discovered that technology to be inoperable. As one of the worlds premier specialists in DSL, he knew of other technologies. These probably were not utilized because of their high noise rates. Adaptive's main claim as I understood it, was to "inject" a part of their technology for noise reduction to our technology that Dr Greaves brought and the combined Technology now known as Embarq was born. Other hands, like Chen and our cambridge student have helped developed it further. Certainly this is speculation and memory pieces on my part, but the fact remains, little is known. And this is a good thing. The doubts will say, because of that, this is a scam. But the wise investor, will look to who is involved, are the insiders buying or selling, and will the final product be needed and valuable in the industry. Until designs and contracts are completed, secrecy is very important, more so than ever. For every step forward we make, our competitors fall back....Go NVEI !
