puzzling given the companys statement of reserves of $580M...one would think there would be at least a mention of the property someplace --------------------
however, there is no disputing that venezuela has huge gold and oil reserves...therego the promotion -----------------------------
any concerns about Chavez? its been reported that he is attempting to nationalize dormant mines "...All concessions and contracts, without exception, are being submitted to a review..."
"...Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Newmont Mining Corp., Placer Dome Inc. and Goldcorp Inc., three of the world's top gold producers, say Venezuela's plan to cancel mining rights for some companies will make future investments in the country unlikely.
``We've stayed away from Venezuela, purposely I will say, because of the difficulty of trying to get titles of any kind in that country,' said Pierre Lassonde, president of Denver-based Newmont, the world's largest gold producer. ``This makes it that much harder for this industry to grow in the future.'
at the same time it appears that minimal buying pressure [so far] can impact SP dramatically without some "support" of the properties existence/history, it appears that this is little more than a promotion ...not that there is anything wrong with that, lol
imo when/if volume does come in, it will be because of additional shares, and may impact SP negatively
