I keep wondering about another blockbuster deal in M&A. There was a highly active rumor awhile back about Walgreens doing a deal with Canada's Katz Bros. I discounted that rumbling, somewhat, as there was some excess baggage from a sour dealing a few years back. However, a lot of time and several changes in WAG management have transpired since, and with A-B "in progress" Walgreens is today much more conversant in dealing in a largely single-payor environment. Katz which is privately held and operates as Rexall throughout most of the Dominion would be a logical geographic fit; I'm sure there others, as well, available on the world stage.

I think we all concur that "something is up" and it likely is only good news!
