Respect your opinion, but don't completely agree. The key is to initially educate new users/customers about who they are and why you would want to visit the site. If they can shorten the learning curve by playing off a globally known brand name, then it's not a bad thing at all. Once established, Agora will become the strongest brand element and then be associated with the culture of the company/website.
