Because they have us by the short and curlies until the PPS goes higher. Right now they can sell 10,000 share bunches to drive the price down, and then buy millions of shares at a reduced value. Rinse and repeat. The only way they can be forced to stop playing this game is if the ask keeps getting slapped and the PPS goes up, so they can;t afford to buy as high a volume, and when their 10,000 share sell attempts will be a drop in the bucket.
