Ford announced last month that their 2015 F150 pickup will be have an aluminum body. Today GM announced that beginning in 2018 they will use aluminum sheetmetal in some of their trucks. The US market is improving slowly. However, prices are still low but may be improving. The major obstacle is still electricity.
