When it comes right down to it...You didn't leave YOUR money with THEM. You just gave it to some other speculative investor. And NMKT had nothing to do with that transaction. Didn't get a dime.
The person YOU GAVE YOUR MONEY TO... was the one who sold his shares to you to begin with, and in reality, to get your money back, or some of your money back, you just took the money of another person who YOU sold your shares to. NMKT didn't get a dime.
If you sold those shares at a loss, the difference simply disappeared into thin air.
This game is between two people. A buyer and a seller.
ANd At some point in time, each one of us shareholders will have been both.
I think it's important not to lose sight of that otherwise we get this impression we are more important to a company then we really are.
