Whatever the Insurance companies are paying now for AMD and SMD treatments should also be cover for RPE treatments. It is all together under the same treatment category. RPEs are not a cosmetic issue but instead critical vision requirements. It all depends on one's Insurance policy.

IMO many, regardless of Insurance, will want the procedure done even at their own expense.
