I don't think any Big Pharma will go home... but they may continue the "breaking apart" of current Big Pharma such as what PFizer has done and that way it extracts every last ounce of shareholder value, but will there be shareholder value left that could equate to the shareholder value that the ones will have that possess Peregrines pipeline? I doubt it

CALICO, I think.... has the chance to start fresh, but they need a cornerstone type of technology, platform (Bavi!) that can be bought and combined, for thousands of clinical trials. Every single researcher or scientist that has ever ran a clinical trial that thought they were close but that "lack of a immune response" spoiled the results.

With Bavi.... thousands upon thousands of trials will be done over with the addition of Bavi to the mix.

Not sure how it all plays out exactly--- does Peregrine grab a smaller company that complements it Bavi pipeline, such as Generex... then Takeda and CALICO step in after... or any mix of scenarios can happen. I'm sure they will pick whats best for public image.

Then some pesky Big Pharmas may yet still call last minute.... oh my, what to do... : )

"Bavituximab is a first-in-class phosphatidylserine (PS)-targeting monoclonal antibody that is the cornerstone of a broad clinical
pipeline."
-- Big Pharmas nightmare... unless they are fortunate enough to have The Bavi Edge!
