High hopes, big disappointments!

As I posted here I have no special expectations for something specific to happen for PPHM on Feb 19th 2014.

I have build a case that there is no one single piece of information that would qualify that date as one were something should happen or has more statistical, logical or speculative chance to happen.

I added that of course that doesn't mean something can't happen. Just saying that Feb 19th isn't ANY SPECIAL day for which ANY SPECIAL expectation could be warranted.

But while following the board and seeing the insistence of wanting to push this date forward and build up enormous hopes towards it I think some posters may be correct in their assessments of what is REALLY happening. Create disappointment and possibly support it with some eMagazine article and a bear raid.

How will some of you feel when the 19th FEB nothing happens? Right, after reading this post no worse our better then right now because you realize now that the 19th Feb isn't any day that needs something to happen. It just has equal chances for a PR as the 18th or the 20th or 21th, etc.

Now we all do know that there are things about to happen for PPHM. So projecting dates at this time, rather then 6 months or a year ago, increases the chances for such prediction to be correct. And actually if you name sufficient dates then at some point one will be top on or close.

What troubles me the most is that the 19th Feb is sold to us based on 'feeling', strange acknowledgements from entities without any reputation or straight out of the incubator and in all cases with a total lack of solid argumentation.

You'all know I am a long long and consistently post long BUT that I don't try to support bull pushing stuff when I think it has no grounds. Objectivity, sticking your neck out, assuming the errors when you are wrong are all things that come with the package.

Well so here I go for a round of sticking my neck out.

I see NOT one reasonable argument, NOT one indication or CANNOT set-up one reasonable piece of logic by which I would be able to make myself believe that Feb 19th (or the days surrounding it) is a special day for PPHM on which an expected event should occur that would have any meaningful impact, up or down, on the pps other then a possible artificially engineered round of coordinated manipulation or any expected event that could have occurred on any other day but just falls on the 19th, such as Liver results, the start of a new Clinical Trial, some law-suit news, etc.

So for myself I am determined not to allow others to set me up for a disappointment by letting my hopes for an event to be set high and being disappointed because something that wasn't set to happen in the first place didn't happen.

And saying we don't even know what it is supposed to be that what is supposed to happen. I think that those that can predict the date of the 19th Feb 2014 because they are in the known would at least have to be able to exactly say what it is that will happen on the 19th, isn't it. And if not, at least not push it as if PPHM would get acquired or announce a partnership, etc.

But since over the years I have seen many of such predictions of new-comers, tremendously pushed and supported by other new comers and that they were continuously wrong upon which a disappearing act was put in place, I don't let myself be caught by that. You know, disappear when wrong and stay and capitalize when in your sea of guesses you once, inevitably, hit the jackpot.

Now it is exactly that why reputation is something that is build over time. Consistency, argumentation and disclosure of reasoning.
