that expounding a little more as to a pumper and dumper. the pumper and dumper usually isolates a stock he wants to pump and dump and then goes to the company and offers to promote the stock for UNRESTRICTED shares of stock, gets the stock, in addtion to buying it at its lowest price before he begins his promotion. As he promotes he is selling his shares into the people that are buying. This is exactly what happened recently on 2 stocks I was involved in but was somewhat lucky I caught it in time without taking much of a hit.

What happened in July, not to be repetitive, a group called the money runners saw this stock move up 23 days and decided to hype the stock pump it up, which made me and others buy at very high prices and then unloaded all of their stock 15 minutes below the close bringing it crashing down.

Also in case no one understands how convertible stock works the day of conversion it is always in their best interest to drive the price down as low as possible in the last hour or minutes of trading so that they are able to close stock much lower and therefore get more stock to sell on the conversion date
