Note holders get a discount to market depending on the terms of the note. An example would be JMJ who gets a 40% discount to the lowest trading price in the last 25 trading days. What you'll see is a note holder put a bottom in, .12 in the case of SCRC, then allow the price to move up to make more profit as their conversion price is based off of .12 for the next 25 days. When they get close to the end of that 25 days they'll utilize their cheap shares to drive the price back down to once again set a cheap price and reset the 25 days before backing off again. They'll rinse and repeat until the notes are converted
