Noticed local J&J is laying off in my area..
150 employees of Johnson and Johnson will soon be out of a job by the end of this year.  Some job cuts may come as early as this summer.  In a letter to the City, J&J outlined its plan for cutting hourly employees.  44 will be let go by July 18th.  The rest will follow at almost monthly intervals that will complete the layoffs by November tenth.  The company says these will be permanent layoffs meant to streamline the company's operation.  As a result of the downsizing, the company will lose its Wound Management and Advanced Sterilization Divisions.
