OK, I shoveled some snow yesterday, and placed two garbage cans for pick up outside my house yesterday, but because new snow piled up the full garbage cans are still there while sanitation trucks with big plows pile more snow on the curb of my sidewalk. You all know what this means--no pickup was made on Monday, no pick up on Thursday, and if nothing gets picked up late tonight then the next pick up is scheduled for Monday--but, but because Monday is a holiday there is no trash pick up AND THEREFORE THE PICK UP CANNOT TAKE PLACE UNTIL NEXT THURSDAY!! No, I have not finished yet--more remains to this story...if there is no pick up tonight I will have no choice but to bring back into my front of the house next to the driveway those full garbage cans that have already made this trip once before. And, as mentioned, since Monday is a holiday I will have to wait until next week on Wednesday night to place those same full and fuller cans for pick up on Thursday morning.
Now, since I have not checked if any new snow is scheduled to fall next week I will try to relax and think positive hoping that maybe by chance one of my Megaball or Powerball tickets that I have bought has the right winning numbers and I will win those millions that can change my financial status and make me forget about the trash cans and other irrelevant issues that bother people like me.....did I forget something else to bring to your attention!!!
