We do not believe that VRNG is willing to give up laches and jury error in order to settle this case. Once that is out of the way in the first appeal, it "may" provide the opportunity to settle this case. GOOG "may" have given up real hope of reversing the RR and WA issues. NOT saying this is what is happening here, but I can think of no other reason at the moment GOOG would now withdraw that motion to consolidate. May think of a reason later. JMOFWIW
