Workshop: You gave it a try, was worth finding out how it was. You were probably looking for more of the "power" info and advanced tips, and they probably did basics and looked for your $$$.
Some are probably better than others and maybe even 1 or 2 legit in that they are trying to find entry level traders for themselves, but most are probably looking to sell something or get your account in some way is my guess.

OT: My wife wanted to go to a timeshare presentation years ago, to get whatever free gift they were giving. I kept telling her how they were, and I told her I'd only go, if I can tell her repeatedly afterwards "I told you So." Was all promotion and rah rah cheering. They'd even pop balloons and all cheer when someone made a sale. Like I give a crap if the guy next to me buys a timeshare??? Was amazing how they played with emotions. Then when you finally turn them down for the 1,000 time, they ushered us quickly down 2-3 dingy hallways with unfinished drywall and out the back door with the paperwork for the free whatever it was.
20 years later, I still get to say "I told you so." Amazing that I'm still married...LOL.
