MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Wisconsin drivers preparing for their commercial driver’s license (CDL) written test can now use an iPad or tablet device to study, thanks to the new Wisconsin DMV CDL Practice Test. Launched last week by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Division of Motor Vehicles and the State’s portal partner, Wisconsin Interactive Network, the CDL practice test can now be downloaded at http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/drivers/drivers/apply/types/cdl-practest.htm and through the Android Market and iTunes.
The practice test is free of charge, and can be used to prepare drivers studying for the commercial driver’s license written knowledge test. Questions cover a variety of topics and include multiple choice answers to questions, such as, “When transporting cargo, drivers must inspect the securement of the cargo within the first ___ miles of a trip: a) 25, b) 50, c) 75, or d) 100.” The practice test also directs users to where the information can be found within the Wisconsin DMV’s CDL Manual.
