"And, in this case, Rambus so far is the party with a lot of mud on their shoes, hence the reason they are fighting hard to keep out all the IFX/fraud/spoliation stuff from the jury."

That summarizes well the position of the felonious amigos with respect to Rambus.

The mud that you say Rambus has on its shoes was put there by the price fixing amigos who have now been shown to be liars and felons in the Department of Justice investigation.

The patents that Cal has nothing but disdain for are currently
being infringed by the entire industry save a few companies.

The claims being tried have been reduced to a representative subset of a full infringement trial so that the jury may get its job done within a reasonable period of time.

The damages issues will be presented to the jury by expert witnesses and will include many licensing agreements.

The big news of the day is really that RAMBUS can now prove that JEDEC assured RAMBUS that disclosure of patent applications was not required. After assuring RAMBUS of this they later attacked RAMBUS for not disclosing patent applications in VA1 and VA2 as well as the FTC.

JEDEC is full of a lot of "tricky little felonious bastards".

The JEDEC issues are getting cancelled by this revelation.
