"QS hasn´t done any harm to the customers, but has helped AMD considerably."

You couldn't be more wrong.
Ever since AMD introduced QS in Q3 2001, they have posted a loss in every single quarter - 7 in a row, and heading for 8.
AMD's market share went into an immediate nose dive, dropping from 21-22% down to about 12%.
AMD's inventory problems went haywire, creating huge amounts of unsold products in the channel and in customers storage, much of which AMD was forced to buy back.
AMD stopped reporting unit shipments to their shareholders - many AMD fan boys used to dump all over intellibees because Intel never reported exact unit shipments. But the AMD fan boys remained silent in the extreme when AMD, due to humiliating embarrassment, stopped reporting processor unit shipments about a year ago.
