No need to bring up the pps yet and pay more than we need to.

Toy, all of your points are valid if one was discussing a stock where a small incremental increase was expected over time. Note the words "small", and "time". However, I invite you to tally the number of posts in the past month which predicted mega increases, and the time frame was any nanosecond.

I'm sitting in a NYSE stock right now where I'm expecting a 47% return. Don't know when it will happen in the next year. If it dips back -15% I'll buy more. So I can afford to wait and see. Now contrast that to the past month of wild KMAG predictions. Not 47%, but rather 7500% starting at 02, and it's going to happen any nanosecond. If one "believes" it can happen any nanosecond, then there is no waiting is there? If one "believes" it's going to 1.50, or a +7500% increase then the only factor is time. To buy as much as you can afford before the stock takes off. A bid at 05, or 02 ensures you get the shares before the nanosecond is up. As opposed to fighting for a few dribble shares at 008. A higher bid is effectively a wildcard fill for anything beneath it.

On the other paw, if the object is to buy at 008, and sell at 016 for a flip trade, then you are absolutely correct - One should fight for the few shares being sold at 008-01. Where placing a bid above 01 doesn't make much sense - too small a channel for this stock. Then one can hope the current rumor gets it to your sell target, and in volume great enough to sell into. Having sold you wait for the current recycled rumor to become stale, with the PPS dropping. Buy, and wait for the next rumor to be recycled. When you see posts going up about selling if news isn't received by some date, or Reid should step aside, then that means only one thing - they have already sold, and are now waiting for the PPS to go back down to start the next flip trade. That's the real game. Eventually the recycled rumors will lose their effect. The stock will stay in a 008-01 rut, with volume eventually going to zero. There will be no more buyers at the top of the pyramid. Then the game is over. Too narrow of a trading range. GL.
