I have been involved with the registration of Rapimed in HK.

@Jeff,
Are you involved w/one of the JV's that was formed as part of establishing the infrastructure for China sales? Or are you an independent consultant retained by SCRC specifically to assist w/navigating the red tape in China?

I don't think many, if any, investors were aware of Hong Kong registration being on the table. All the talk was always of China (at least the impression seemed to be mainland China).

Either way, this is unexpected -- and good -- news. It seems that instead of two catalysts (China approval followed by the announcement of first sales in China), we may have four catalysts (HK approval, first sales in HK, China approval, first sales in China). All the better. So long as its actual news instead of fluff forward-looking statements, that is what investors (and the rest of the market) has been waiting for.

we are now translating the documents needed to register the rapimed products in China as well. Should be a much shorter process than HK

To be clear, are you saying that the China approval process is just now starting? So we are looking at another 60-90 days for mainland China approval? Or has the process for mainland China started a while back, but this "translation of docs" will simply accelerate the final stages of the process and we should expect to hear from the China regulatory body soon?
