Hey Flex , use a fitting called a Sharkbite. They work really really good . They press on . They basically work like a Chinese finger puzzle , except you want the pipes to get stuck . You can get them at Lowes , Depot etc.... From what I've read looks like you've had some hot water issues with maybe a tank. FYI , I am THE go to guy for repairs. Try them. They are really easy to use and the have several sizes and different types of fittings for all applications . Goooooo Nation ! Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow !!!
