I've taken metro north into NYC from new haven hundreds if times. You are correct-he does both but usually people purchase the ticket before they get on board and therefore he/she takes your ticket and punches it. More importantly, you did not address why you have become a flip flipper. You adamantly advocated for this company just two months ago and now you speak as if you've discovered something new. Please address if you don't mind.
