Looking good Buck! Metallogenic Provinces of Mexico

Silver and gold have been identified in some form in almost all of the states and geographical regions of Mexico
The key metallogenic provinces for silver and gold reflect Mexico’s main orogenic and volcanic belts
The most important mineral deposit types for precious metals in Mexico are polymetallic replacement deposits and epithermal silver-gold deposits
In the epithermal category, low-sulphidation (adularia-sericite) deposits are far more abundant, than high-sulphidation deposits
In some regions skarn deposits are important, in direct spatial and temporal relationship with igneous intrusions
Volcanic massive sulphide deposits with enriched precious metals contents are abundant in Chihuahua
