January Results
December: $3,528.32
January: $9,056.81
January was my best month ever and what is really aggravating to me is that I totally blew the APPY trade. I was up $8500 on that trade before it cracked last week. I ended up getting out with a $2k profit. I have started staging my buys back in. It will be over $3.00... and soon.
My only loss last month was CPRX. My entry on this one was just poor. I then averaged down, but was never able to get to a green position and held longer than I should have. I should have not gotten into this play at all. There were no catalysts in the short term and the PRs that were being put out did nothing significant for the stock price. I got sucked in by the PRs and could not have given a good answer as to why I was in the trade.
AEZS was a trade I entered because the company was raising money and the stock price dipped below the offer price. I should have gone in much larger, but it was a clean 20% trade.
DRRX I should have held longer as I sold at 1.89 and the price went up to 2.25. I bought about 3 weeks too early and was getting restless. I locked in my 20% and moved on.
I am also uploading my trades on Profit.ly. I am not sure how long I will do it. The software is somewhat quirky and they really let you do very little unless you are going to pay a monthly fee. Anyway here is a link to my chart: http://profit.ly/user/sheep/chart
