I didn't say travel would be cut, I said it was possible that he would not be able to take some trips, or fly first class. I think Disney is a great company, but it's also huge and POW! Is a small company. I think if a mandate came down from senior management to cut costs a mid level accountant might well cut the travel budget for POW!.
But let's say you are right. What about funding stuff like the POWer Concerts? Or, some of Stan's other charities? Stan had no problem getting POW! into stuff it could not afford while the company was losing money.
I think you are right about some of Stan's appearances, but it looks like most of them are payed for by his signing fees, and meet and greets.
My point was, I doubt Stan (and Gill) want to give up control of POW!, unless they were made an offer they could not refuse (I doubt a few million would sway Stan). I don't think $25 million for all of POW! Is the number, otherwise Stan would have sold back in 2010.
It doesn't appear that Stan has come up with one good idea after another, that Disney just had to have. There have only been a few Disney-POW! projects.
I still think Disney will be the eventual buyer of POW!, just not right now.
