A reg echeck is much slower I found. At the bottom of this echeck website http://www.authorize.net/solutions/merchantsolutions/merchantservices/echeck/
Claims to have reduced echeck clear time from 21 days down to 3 days, that's still a very long time compared to MyECheck which clears in 2-3 seconds.
