It's a little confusing. I was replying to larson's post when I said what you are referring to. So not saying you did that. Also, being a non-medical person when I say infection I assume it means bacterial but see your point. I was infected with a virus.

Anyway, I was replying to the statement Larson made that doctors generally give patients antibiotics even when they don't need them. It seems to me that is changing but I'm only relating my own experience.
