Because of a stock called EDIG In 1999 I have a soft spot for message boards. Back then a website called Raging bull was they message board to be on. I found EDIG there bought at .15 sold at $3, thats the good news(bad news it went to $25 a month later, and now is under a dime). So I dont go by what ppl say to buy a stock, but what I will do is a stock looks legit I will do my own DD. So as long as you do your own DD and blame yourself if a stock is a bust message boards are ok.
