Sure, especially back then. Companies go public to raise funds. I think now bbda could survive off its sales alone, but they could not expand. Building a business is not cheap. Companies like Maryleys mellow mood do it with rich private owners and the Bob Marley brand. I also believe Weber is not great with money and some funds were spent on things that did not benefit the company. Either way, still takes money to make money. This is a risky endeavor as most companies fail. That's why I hope people aren't investing there life savings in this, like the guy on facebook who says he did. Odds are this will fail. But if it succeeds longs could make a killing. Flippers should be making now if they played it correctly.
