One last thing people who have margin accounts that sold their stock gave the borrower these shares!!

If I lend you my shares for interest and then sell the shares guess who gets the shares??

Ie the borrower!! And that short is now covered!!


So actually anyone who lends shares to shorts actually is hindering a run when he or she sells!!
