What's up with this BS? Why would any market maker do this? How do they make money off this strategy?


It's not necessarily the MM himself. It could be him (if there is a trading business behind this MM) but it also could be an outside entity using INTL and now BKMM for some kinda intense algo/spread trading. The purpose is simple. They wanna make money on the spread overall and an stock like SIAF with constant massive volume (for OTC) is good for that. They also make a market in general that way.
