I remember that now you say it. He offered the deal to me and I told him no way in hell. I realize he needed it to offset the debt but there was guarantee I'd even get my initial investment back, let alone any gains. He did seem like a scam artist since the company was listed and delisted so many times.

Oh well, good that you didn't get taken.
