David Foley reports to Federal prison 27 March 2014, whether he files an appeal or not. He will be in prison on 27 March 2014, no ifs, ands, or buttz.

If he tries to file an appeal of his sentence, he breaches his plea agreement and will wind up in even worse shape.

But either way - he will be in prison on March 27th. He can be like all the other Federal prisoners inside - constantly working on appeals that never get anywhere - if he's dumb enough to breach his sweet plea deal and open himself up to even more of the dismissed charges and a much longer sentence.
