We need to do some dd on the Columbus Group out of the Cayman Islands. There are several mutual funds registered with the government at the government website, but I haven't been able to find anything particular on Columbus Group the lead Plaintiff. I guess it is my non-trusting nature, but given all that has happened I suspect there may be some connection between this hedge fund and Palisades. I find it remarkable that all the greedy lawyers who wanted to lead the case, did not bring up who runs and owns this firm or argued that it is a foreign entity . Now why would any hedge fund be acquiring a few million more shares in August without having assurances from somewhere that it is a wise thing to do? Did they buy their shares from Palisades? Was the acquisition pre planned to set the stage to control the class action and fix the case at the expense of the rest of the class? There is the possibility. And this would make our shares more valuable.Pfrenz do you have any information as to whether discovery (motion to produce, interrogatories, notice of depositions filed)? Why haven't such things been filed yet? The lead plaintiff was appointed 11/23. Things are on a fast track in federal court. Why would plaintiffs want to delay the matter waiting for restated financials from whai, giving whai some control over the timing of everything. All speculation on my part.
