This same spread has existed every early morning for well over a year now. As the system is refreshed and initialized for the next days trading, the attributes of the file sequence probably require some value in the bid and ask buckets without with which the file would not initialize and crash with what used to called the dreaded SOC7. Further on this, now that the file has been brought up and initialized, it has now been updated with today's numbers as they actually exist at this moment and they happen to be very good for us at an ask of 2.04. This is much better than broader market futures which point to a very sharp decline at open.
