So far, only five companies across the country are allowed to legally grow and sell marijuana. As a result, there is growing concern that there will be cannabis shortage under the new regime, and that the price of it will skyrocket."
In my opinion if CEN builds this structure to code, the Canadian government would like nothing more but to grant approval. I agree with the article that only 5 approvals thus far may create a major supply/demand problem for patients. I would assume a few more approvals could get squeezed out of the government, but, if CEN actually breaks into the market with the biggest state of the art facility it won't matter.
