Despite what your name would appear to suggest you are clearly unfamiliar with clinical trials. Testing in a number of species, often mice/rats, dog,primates (called "pre-clinicals")before humans is dead standard.

ZF you obviously dont understand sarcasm. One would think that the time to initiate testing in dogs and mice is over...considering that human trials are supposed to start soon..and here management is still talking about starting canine testing for the first time. Its also possible to do testing in primates, will that be next ?...Where the heck did this idea to start dog testing come from ?...Some recently observed toxicity ?..
