Smart people will continue to fund IRAs and 401k plans. Hopefully that money will be there in the end. But there is no guarantee of that either.

many companies have restrictions on what funds you can put your 401K money into... I know mine did. And then there are companies like Enron... definitely no guarantees. But gosh, they made the choice to work for that darn company... sol
