It would be nice to know if we could prove that is what is happening,but it could also just be profit taking by retail longs who were waiting years to get a payday combined with the usual high frequency trading programs that crumb take the rest from retail.Now we have to watch what happens from here. If more institutional buying steps in as would normally be expected I would think,then that should put a hard floor in place for retail.When I say retail I mean longs but obviously there are many retail shorts as well.
