You can't blame them for having dreams...we all do, however basing your dreams on an SEC disgraced CEO is a bit of a stretch period!!! It would be nice if the SEC would give routine updates as to the status or proceedings of all the stocks they have suspended, but the don't as they feel the suspension of that stock was WARNING enough! Jeff or Duncan is however free to comment, but he does not. Why? Probably advice from his lawyers to not dig the grave any deeper and this gives him time to pump and dump 300mm or more shares of his other public SCAM if he can before further SEC action is taken.

Immunic CMO discusses significance of MS Awareness Month; progress with treatment

Immunic Inc (NASDAQ:IMUX) chief medical officer Dr Andreas Muehler talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s work in multiple sclerosis (MS) as MS Awareness Month concludes. Muehler discussed the importance of continued research funding and the community’s role in advancing treatment. He highlighted the company’s lead asset, vidofludimus calcium, which is in advanced-stage clinical trials. Results from the phase 2 EMPHASIS trial in relapsing-remitting MS showed a reduction of about three-quarters of new MRI lesions compared to placebo. Muehler said, “This is a very good value,” and pointed to biomarker data showing a strong, dose-linear suppression of neurofilament — a sign of nerve cell damage. A phase 3 program involving more than 2,000 patients is now underway, with data expected in 2026. In progressive MS, Immunic is close to reporting data from its phase 2 CALLIPER trial, having already seen positive biomarker signals at 24 weeks. Muehler addressed patients’ fears of disability, stressing the company’s commitment to tackling "progression independent of relapse activity (PIRA)", a key unmet need. He emphasized vidofludimus calcium’s dual mechanism — both anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective — and its potential to become the first oral drug targeting the full spectrum of MS. Quantum Base to list on AIM with £5M IPO plan

Quantum Base CEO Tom Taylor joined Stephen Gunnion in the Proactive studio with more about the company’s upcoming listing on the AIM market and its breakthrough anti-counterfeiting technology. Quantum Base, founded in 2013 as a spin-out from Lancaster University, has developed an atomic fingerprint that offers 100% secure authentication of goods, scannable with any smartphone. “It tells you 100% if something is real or it's fake,” Taylor said, describing the technology as a major leap in the fight against counterfeiting. Taylor explained that the technology has applications across sectors including brand protection, pharmaceuticals, tax stamps, banknotes, passports and even aerospace parts. The firm is already working with clients globally—from North America to the Middle East—and targeting both commercial brands and government organisations. The IPO is expected to raise £5 million, with £4.70 million already committed and trading set to begin on Friday under the ticker QUBE. The retail offer remains open. “We really want to grow… AIM really helps us grow,” Taylor said, noting the listing will support product development and expansion into new verticals. Key uses of the funds will include expanding Quantum Base’s commercial team and scaling its product reach into global markets. Race Oncology launches Phase I RC220 trial in Australia

Race Oncology CEO and MD Daniel Tillett talked with Proactive about the opening of patient enrollment at the first Australian clinical site for the RC220 Phase I solid tumour trial. Tillett confirmed that the trial is now underway, with additional sites expected to follow soon. The focus of this early-stage study is to determine a safe and effective combination dose of RC220 with the chemotherapy drug doxorubicin. According to Tillett, “our drug has the advantage… not only does it improve the anti-cancer treatment, but it protects the heart, at least in animals and cells to date.” He noted the choice of Southside Cancer Centre as the initial site, citing the faster startup process compared to public hospitals. Other sites, including Gosford and Wyong, have also received ethics approval and are expected to join the trial following regulatory clearance. Tillett discussed the use of a Bayesian trial design, which allows quicker progression and minimises patient exposure to suboptimal doses. While this approach can introduce uncertainty in timelines, it is expected to be more beneficial overall for patients and the company. Early preclinical data has shown that RC220 can reduce doxorubicin-related toxicity while enhancing cancer treatment outcomes, a combination Tillett described as unique among current therapies. Beyond the trial, Race Oncology is conducting separate preclinical studies to identify the most effective drug combinations using RC220. Tillett noted that more updates on this work are expected in the coming months. Inspired PLC CEO Mark Dickinson breaks down FY24 highlights, net zero strategy

Inspired PLC (AIM:INSE) chief executive Mark Dickinson takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company's 2024 financial results, its ongoing mission to help clients reach net zero, and the outlook for 2025. Dickinson provided an overview of the group’s four complementary divisions: software, assurance, ESG, and optimisation. These work together to help Inspired’s B2B clients manage energy costs, comply with ESG reporting obligations, and implement real carbon reduction strategies. “The backdrop continues to be increasingly favourable for Inspired as we help those clients navigate their way through those challenges,” Dickinson said, citing continuing demand despite lower energy prices. FY24 was a year focused on strengthening the balance sheet. Dickinson said the company eliminated all contingent consideration liabilities, raised capital, and reduced net leverage from 2.59x to 1.47x adjusted EBITDA—giving the business a firmer platform for growth. The company’s non-financial KPIs also moved in a positive direction, with cross-selling increasing and more than 50% of optimisation clients returning for additional services. Inspired is now serving 420 clients with optimisation support. Looking ahead, Dickinson said trading in 2025 started in line with expectations, and the business is progressing well on previously delayed projects. He remains optimistic about the pipeline and demand drivers, particularly in energy conservation, ESG compliance, and net zero support.
