Just a guess but how does this sound?

In view of the result of the recent shareholder's meeting the audit is being delayed so that we may incorporate the value of newly authorized shares into the "foward looking statement" segment of the audit.

The auditor has requested additonal time in order to evaluate the impact of the additional authorized shares on he financial condition of the company. We are certain that this examination will result in a favorable opinion.


Either way...

We expect to release the results of the audit by then of the month.
