I work in a pharmacy. In order to bill your insurance for ANYTHING you need a prescription. I live in CA where you can go to a special DR and he gives you a "Medical MJ" card. It's actually a piece of paper and with that you walk up to a dispensary and purchase whatever it is that you're wanting. They deal in cash only there is no billing of insurance. All medical MJ is purchased with CASH - nothing else. No credit cards, no health insurance. Nice try though.
