I got a response from EP. Fred is simply not involved with what I assumed he was, the audit and the SHM agenda:

Fred doesn't deal with the blog, in fact, I sometimes lament that he never seems to take time to read them, after we spend time discussing content and timing of release information. As for the audit being done, you clearly must have misunderstood Fred, or you are playing a bit of a game with me. I just spoke with him (before responding to your email here), and he said he said NOTHING about the audit status and the Shareholder Meetings, and the only thing that he said he DID say was that he was unaware that the Shareholder's Meeting Agenda had been previously posted months ago. We stand by our announcements... so there's nothing to clarify. ERIC
