Are we talking about the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act that Clinton wrote? Yes, that was a mistake. I can't believe the Republicans went along with it... Hell, I also can't believe they'd have blocked dozens of attempts to roll back its excesses or hold the criminals who took advantage accountable.
"Clinton that pardoned Mark Rich"
Oh yeah that... Trying to placate his attorney that wily Dem operative Scooter Libby and AIPAC no doubt. ("Clinton also cited clemency pleas he had received from Israeli government officials, including then-Prime Minister Ehud Barak. Rich had made substantial donations to Israeli charitable foundations over the years, and many senior Israeli officials, such as Shimon Peres and Ehud Olmert, argued on his behalf behind the scenes.[27] (Speculation about another rationale for Rich's pardon involved his alleged involvement with the Israeli intelligence community")http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Rich
Not really sure I give a fuck though. Marc Rich doesn't affect me. You probably just hate Jews.
"Remember it was Billy that opened all those overseas trade agreements "
Actually signed them yes, but they date to the days of Reagan. Certainly predating Clinton.
Perhaps if we can agree it was a mistake, John Boehner can begin rolling it back. You holding your breath?
Again though Clinton presided over the longest economic expansion in history, balanced the books and created 24 million jobs. W squandered that. $2 trillion in tax cuts, $ trillions in wars and who knows what on the Medicare part D plan, that forced the government to pay retail prices for meds.
