Thanks for all the responses. Regarding my espn question....or all cable for that matter...is it possible to make a box that replaces your cable box or really takes that cable signal out of the box and run it through a 4k conversion process before it enters the 4k TV?

If you can OTA channels which J think is an fcc allowance since it is local to you anyway....how do you get the big channels? They all have agreements with cable providers so they are not on the Internet separately? This is more than a NTEK question obviously...

I beleive cable providers struggle with bandwidth as it is....how do they plan to get 4k content out?

How good is up conversion?
