The caveat to your thesis is that the new manager needs to be perceived as more competent than the incumbent.

In general: bad manager (management) translates into a depressed share price, and very often when they leave there's a big pop on the news.

I'm still mulling over the possibility of net equity post VM-179. What kind of ballpark numbers would that translate into, and why?
