ut27rod, one thing I learned over time is to not chase a stock thinking "it will get away". Worst case scenario is that it does and then you would have to find another one of which there are many to choose from. Typically what happens (not always) on a day following a large gain is that a stock rises at the open with those wanting in at any price and then many times after 10-15 minutes it will come down some and create an entry point before it rises again mid morning. Last week I was in GLER which had a rise of 113%. The following AM it rose about 20% at the open and then within 15 minutes or even less came back down to break even already which would have allowed an entry. It's never easy to predict these but always remember that if you can't get in one with your target there are always many others out there.
