Yes it is.

Here is why. Cultivation is in private hands not public hands. The stocks in this sector add no value. And are just capitalizing on the hype. This is no different than any of the other penny plays.

If you are investing in greenhouse then you will win. No different than if you invested in a company buying oil shale land in North Dakota...

But, to invest in a shell company that has no experience in horticulture, doen't own any land or tangible assets, has no revenue and can't even present at an investment conference... is no different than all the non-defunct penny stocks trying to get funding to build a mine in Arizona.
